Raised in the highest point of West Virginia, Bekki grew up singing and playing the piano in the small country church her family attended. But even those mountains wasn’t big enough to contain her talent......

Bekki Smith is a pastor’s wife, worship leader, anointed singer, and a gifted speaker. She communicates the Gospel in a powerful way.

Her ministry brings a powerful message through song to thousands of people every year during her concert services, women’s events, and television appearances. Bekki knows what it’s like to balance the demands of life. Bekki is married to Jeff Smith, Senior Pastor of the “The Church at Clifton Road” in Greensboro, North Carolina. They have been blessed with three great children: Jazmen (16), Joktan (15), and Joshua (6).

    Whether Bekki is ministering in concert or leading worship, she believes her purpose is to prepare freedom and liberty for the Word of God to be delivered. Bekki states, “A few years ago, God showed me in His Word the importance of music especially in the Old Testament. When there was going to be a battle, God would call for the musicians. As they began to play their instruments and lift up their voices, God put such a fear in the enemy that it drove them away. In essence, I am to sing with a holy anointing that will drive the enemy away because in every congregation, there are battles raging in the lives, hearts, and minds of God’s people and only the anointing will break the yoke of bondage.“

    Bekki’s latest recording with Lamon Records, “When You Believe”, showcases the depths of her musical abilities. Her performance seems effortless but pushes you beyond the voice to allow you to become intimate with the message. Bekki states, “The first single from my new project is “Not Just A Scar” and this song has had incredible feedback. When we first heard this song a few years ago, my husband and I just sat there with tears in our eyes because if you’re breathing--you’ve been through or are going through adversity--and my sister-in-law had just come through breast cancer, so this song was our testimony especially when you understand the meaning of the word scar which is……a place where there’s been a healing.”

    The conviction of Bekki’s heart is to provide music for the church. Choosing songs that will minister encouragement to the believer and glorifying God is her passion. Bekki’s music is anointed and will lift you out of discouragement and will usher you in to praise and worship.
