Dear Friends:

Thank you for stopping by my site. I hope you'll keep coming back from time to time because we're not finished with it yet. We'll have the photo gallery up in the next few weeks and you can see my beautiful family and pics from the road. Talking about family, Jazmen will be 17 in a few weeks and she is a beautiful young lady. She was just signed to a modeling agency and is doing great. Joktan is 15 and he is our musician. He's an incredible drummer and leads worship for the student services at our church. Joshua is 7 and loves to play football! Jeff and I have been blessed with three wonderful children, two Collies named Duke and Daisy, a Shitzu named "Little Rascal", three birds, and hamsters!!!! Never a dull moment at the Smith's house. I do hope you are enjoying your summer and spending time with your family.

Well, you read it right! I am going "Nascar", but not to drive!! I've been asked to sing the National Anthem at the Rolex Race in Watkins Glen, New York on Friday night, August 8. It will be televised so I hope you'll be watching. Also, my husband, Jeff, has been asked to say the opening prayer. This is a dream come true and we can't wait.

I would love to come to your church or women's event. Please email us at bekki@bekkismith.com and my assistant, Jane Tedder, would be glad to help you. When I'm not on the road, I lead worship at our church where my husband, Jeff Smith, is the Senior Pastor. www.cliftonroad.org

Be listening for my new radio single, "I'm Goin' to a City". Please call your local radio station and request it. And if I'm going to be in your area, I would sure love to see you.

Before I go, I must share the verse that God gave me not too long ago. On this particular day, I was so discouraged and as I sat at my breakfast table I remember asking God to give me a verse and speak encouragement in to my spirit. Well, I did what I had heard so many others say they did--I just opened up my Bible and there it was. Isaiah 49:16 "See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me." This literally means that God has your face tattooed on each of His hands (plural) and He knows exactly where you're at and what you're going through. So don't give up! Keep praying, trusting, and relying on HIM!

Sweet Blessings,

Bekki Smith
